BEAUTIFUL BALI

Bali, a favourite for every true Island diehard. The constant heat, the tropical vibes, the friendly locals  and the most relaxed atmosphere. Thinking coconuts, bikinis, beaches, surfer boys and villas. A perfect little paradise.

A 10 day beach break was on the cards to escape one of the coldest Sydney winters in a long time (although, the chill is nothing compared to a majority of places).

I’ve been to Bali more times than I can count but was blown away by the accommodation this time, we had the pleasure of staying at both the 1 11 Villas Seminyak and Alila Villas Uluwatu.

For any future Bali travellers, YOU MUST STAY AT 1 11 VILLAS !

The 1 11 Villas is a little slice of private paradise in the heart of Seminyak. They come with a private pool, fully functional kitchen, luxurious bedroom and bathroom, a huge open air/outdoor living area that opens up onto the pool and garden. The only time we felt the need to leave was to get dinner.

My favourite part was the daily breakfast. A chef would come into your villa at your chosen time and make your breakfast right in front of you. The breakfast was always exceptional! It was such nice, personal touch that makes such a huge difference to start your day.

Escaping the intensity of Seminyak and venturing to the south coast of Bali could not have been more perfect.

The last few days were spent at the Alila Villas Uluwatu which was a dream. Luxury villas, sitting atop a panoramic plateau above lime stone cliffs with the sweeping ocean below, Alila Villas Uluwatu is one of the charming 5 star Bali villas.

Bali is synonymous with beach days and lazing by the pool, both 1 11 and Alila provided both of them in spades.

Take a trip to Finn’s Beach Club for a cocktail or explore the never ending caves and rock formations at Uluwatu Beach. There’s numerous surf competitions on at Padang beach so grab a coconut, set yourself up in the sand and enjoy the Bali way of life.

I’ll be back soon…
